It is every independent filmmaker’s dream to be associated with the Sundance Institute. And so, naturally, I am absolutely over the moon to share that Against The Tide (dir. Sarvnik Kaur, prod. Koval Bhatia, Sarvnik Kaur) has been supported by the Sundance Documentary Fund. As we have spent the past few weeks pitching at forums, attending meetings, workshops, masterclasses and plenaries, it almost feels like attending school again and the Sundance grant feels like a gold star.
